I lifted up my eyes again and looked, and behold! A man with a measuring line in his hand.

Therefore so says Jehovah: I have returned to Jerusalem with mercies. My house shall be built in it, says Jehovah of Hosts. And a line shall be stretched over Jerusalem.

Then I lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, four horns!

And a reed like a rod was given to me. And the angel stood, saying, Rise up and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and those who worship in it.

And he who talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city and its gates and its wall.
