(as it has been written, "I have made you a father of many nations") before God, whom he believed, who makes the dead live, and calls the things which do not exist as though they do exist.

And I will bless her, and give you a son also of her. Yes, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations, kings of people shall be from her.

For as the Father raises the dead and makes alive, even so the Son of Man makes alive whomever He wills.

Truly, truly, I say to you, The hour is coming and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God, and they who hear shall live.

It is the Spirit that makes alive, the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit and are life.

All His works are known to God from eternity.

Or is He the God of the Jews only, and not also of the nations? Yes, of the nations also,

For he who beyond hope believed on hope for him to become the father of many nations (according to that which was spoken, "So your seed shall be").

For if Abraham was justified by works, he has a boast; but not before God.

But if the Spirit of the One who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, the One who raised up Christ from the dead shall also make your mortal bodies alive by His Spirit who dwells in you.

(for the children had not yet been born, neither had done any good or evil; but that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works but of Him who called,)

you who then were not a people, but now the people of God, those not pitied then, but now pitied.

But, beloved, let not this one thing be hidden from you, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
