But the Scripture shut up all under sin, so that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.

What then? Shall we sin because we are not under Law, but under grace? Let it not be!

What then do I say? That the idol is anything, or that an idolatrous sacrifice is anything?

For who makes you to differ from another? And what do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

What then? Israel has not obtained that which it seeks, but the election obtained it, and the rest were hardened

But if our unrighteousness commends the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who lays on wrath? (I speak as a man.)

For the wrath of God is revealed from Heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,

But seeing this, the Pharisee who had invited Him, spoke within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what kind of woman this is who touches him, for she is a sinner.

Who can say, I have made my heart clean; I am pure from my sin?

Therefore you are without excuse, O man, everyone who judges; for in that in which you judge another, you condemn yourself, for you who judge do the same things.

Then what is the superiority of the Jew? Or what is the profit of circumcision?

For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am carnal, sold under sin.
