The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God:

The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is blessed forever, knows that I do not lie.

And what I write to you, behold, before God, I do not lie.

praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching to this very thing with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.

I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,

always in every prayer of mine making my request for you all with joy

But you know the proof of him, that, as a son with the father, he has served with me in the gospel.

For we are the circumcision who worship God in the spirit and rejoice in Christ Jesus and have no confidence in the flesh;

We give thanks to God for you always, making mention of you in our prayers,

night and day praying exceedingly for me to see your face and to perfect the things lacking in your faith?

To this I am ordained a preacher and an apostle (I speak the truth in Christ, I do not lie), a teacher of the nations, in faith and truth.

I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I remember you in my prayers night and day,

I thank my God, making mention of you always in my prayers,

Also, I, far be it from me that I should sin against Jehovah from ceasing to pray for you. But I will teach you the good and the right way.
