A Psalm of David. Blessed is Jehovah my Rock, who teaches My hands for war, my fingers for battle.
He teaches my hands to war, so that a bow of bronze is bent by my arms.
Jehovah is my strength, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock; I will trust in Him; He is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.
He teaches my hands to war, so that my hands may bend a bow of bronze.
For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds,
He says, Only in Jehovah do I have righteousness and strength; even to Him he comes. And they are ashamed, all who are angry with Him.
Through God we shall do great things; for it is He who shall trample our enemies.
For who is God besides Jehovah? Or, who is a Rock except our God?
Oh come, let us sing to Jehovah; let us make a joyful noise to the Rock of our salvation.
Be a rock of refuge for me, to which I may always go; You have commanded to save me; for You are my Rock and my Fortress.
Trust in Jehovah forever; for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength.
And he said to the king of Israel, Put your hand on the bow. And he placed his hand. And Elisha put his hands on the king's hands.
I will call on Jehovah, who is worthy to be praised; so shall I be saved from my enemies.
You have also given me the shield of Your salvation; and Your right hand has held me up, and Your gentleness has made me great.
