You are my hiding-place and my shield; I hope in Your Word.

My soul breaks for the longing that it has to Your judgments at all times.

Behold, I have longed after Your Commandments; in Your righteousness give me life.

VAU: Let Your mercies come to me, O Jehovah, even according to Your salvation, according to Your Word.

And I shall have something to answer him who mocks me; for I trust in Your Word.

My soul longs, yea, even faints for the courts of Jehovah; my heart and my flesh shout for joy to the living God.

I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, if you find my Beloved, what do you tell Him? That I am sick with love.
