I opened my mouth and panted; for I longed for Your Commandments.
And they waited for me like the rain; and they opened their mouth wide as for the latter rain.
As a servant earnestly desires the shadow, and as a hireling looks for his wages,
I rejoice at Your Word, as one who finds great spoil.
I have longed for Your salvation, O Jehovah; and Your Law is my delight.

desire the sincere milk of the Word, as newborn babes, so that you may grow by it;
