I understand more than the old men, because I keep Your Commandments.

Who is wise and knowing among you? Let him show his works by his good conduct with meekness of wisdom.

The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom; all practicing them have good understanding; His praise stands forever.

And to man He said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom! And to depart from evil is understanding!

With the aged is wisdom, and understanding in length of days.

Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock.

And Elihu had waited beside Job with words, because they were older than he in days.

Give me understanding, and I shall keep Your Law; yea, I shall observe it with all my heart.
