And the day came when Elisha passed over to Shunem. And a great woman was there. And she laid hold on him to eat bread. And it happened, as often as he passed by, he turned in there to eat bread.

And they sent to me four times in this way. And I answered them in the same way.

They speak vanity each one with his neighbor; with flattering lips and a double heart they speak.

For the lips of a strange woman drip honey, and her palate is smoother than oil;

to keep you from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman.

He goes after her immediately, like an ox goes to the slaughter, or like a fool to the correction of the stocks;

so that they may keep you from the strange woman, from the stranger who flatters with her words.

And the lord said to the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges and compel them to come in, so that my house may be filled.

But they constrained Him, saying, Stay with us, for it is toward evening and the day is far spent. And He went in to stay with them.

And when she was baptized, she and her household, she begged us, saying, If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house and stay. And she constrained us.

For the love of Christ constrains us, judging this, that if one died for all, then all died;

And she wept before him the seven days, while their feast lasted. And on the seventh day, he told her, because she pressed hard upon him. And she told the riddle to the sons of her people.

But he refused, and said, I will not eat. But his servants, forced him, and the woman also. And he listened to their voices and arose from the earth and sat on the bed.
