Keep your heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth the good. And an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth the evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.

He who keeps his mouth keeps his life; he who opens his lips wide, it is ruin to him.

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?

For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies;

My son, hear and be wise, and guide your heart in the way.

He who trusts in his own heart is a fool; but whoever walks wisely, he shall be delivered.

Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. Truly the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.

A gracious woman keeps honor, and the strong keep riches.

The way of the upright is to turn away from evil; he who keeps his way guards his way.
