and, lo, it was all grown over with thorns, and nettles had covered the face of it, and its stone wall was broken down.

And that sown into the thorns is this: he who hears the Word; and the anxiety of this world, and the deceit of riches, choke the Word, and he becomes unfruitful.

And some fell among thorns. And the thorns sprung up and choked them.

But that which bears thorns and briers is rejected and is a curse, whose end is to be burned.)
