You have sent widows away empty, and the arms of the fatherless have been broken.

They pluck the fatherless from the breast, and take a pledge from the poor.

Yea, you cause anger to fall on the fatherless, and you dig a pit for your friend.

They kill the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.

You shall not afflict any widow or fatherless child.

Jehovah will destroy the house of the proud, but He will set up the border of the widow.

Do not remove the old landmark which your fathers have set.

So says Jehovah, Do judgment and righteousness, and deliver him who is robbed out of the oppressors's hand. And do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, or the widow, nor shed innocent blood in this place.

For if you thoroughly amend your ways and your doings; if you completely do judgment between a man and his neighbor;

if you do not oppress the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place, nor walk after other gods to your hurt;

And do not crush the widow or the orphan, the alien or the poor. And do not devise evil in your heart, of a man against his brother.

And I will come near you to judgment. And I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those who extort from the hired laborer's wages, and turning away the widow, and the orphan, the alien, and not fearing Me, says Jehovah of Hosts.

You may not remove your neighbor's landmark, which those in the past have set in your inheritance, which you shall inherit in the land which Jehovah your God gives you to possess it.

Cursed is he who removes his neighbor's landmark. And all the people shall say, Amen.

Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, to visit orphans and widows in their afflictions, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.
