He who walks in his uprightness fears Jehovah, but he who is perverse in his ways despises Him.

Why have you despised the Word of Jehovah, to do evil in His sight? You have stricken Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and have taken his wife to be your wife, and have killed him with the sword of the sons of Ammon.

Praise Jehovah! Blessed is the man who fears Jehovah, who delights greatly in His Commandments.

Let purity and uprightness keep me; for I wait on You.

One despising his friend lacks heart, but a man of understanding remains silent.

The way of the upright is to turn away from evil; he who keeps his way guards his way.

By mercy and truth, iniquity is purged, and by the fear of Jehovah men turn away from evil.

Better is the poor who walks in his integrity than he who is perverse in his lips, and is a fool.

whose ways are crooked, and are devious in their paths.

Better is the poor who walks in his uprightness than he who is perverse in his ways, though he is rich.

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter. Fear God, and keep His commandments. For this is the whole duty of man.

The one hearing you hears Me, and he who despises you despises Me; he who rejects you also rejects Him who sent Me.
