Yea, he loved cursing, so let it come to him; he delighted not in blessing, and it was far from him.

A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth, and the reward of a man's hands shall be given to him.

No evil shall happen to the just, but the wicked shall be filled with mischief.

The heart knows its own bitterness, and a stranger does not share in its joy.

The simple believes every word, but the wise man watches his step.

A man's belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; he shall be satisfied with the product of his lips.

So says Jehovah, Cursed is the man who trusts in man, and makes flesh his arm, and whose heart departs from Jehovah.

Your own evil shall correct you, and your backslidings shall reprove you, therefore know and see that it is an evil and bitter thing that you have forsaken Jehovah your God, and that My fear is not in you, says the Lord Jehovah of Hosts.

Why has this people of Jerusalem slidden back by a never-ending backsliding? They hold fast to deceit; they refuse to return.

Therefore I have poured out My fury on them. I have burned them up with the fire of My wrath. I have given their way on their heads, says the Lord Jehovah.

For Israel slides back like a backsliding heifer. Now Jehovah will feed them as a lamb in a large place.

and those drawing back from Jehovah, and who have not sought Jehovah, nor asked for Him.

but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst, but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity; not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God; we have had our conduct in the world, and more abundantly toward you.

But let each one prove his own work, and then he alone will have a boast in himself, and not in another.

For he sowing to his flesh will reap corruption from the flesh. But he sowing to the Spirit will reap life everlasting from the Spirit.

Take heed, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.
