When it goes well with the righteous, the city rejoices; and when the wicked are destroyed, there is singing.

And all the people of the land rejoiced, and the city was quiet. And they killed Athaliah with the sword beside the king's house.

And she looked, and behold, the king stood at his pillar at the entrance, and the rulers and the trumpets by the king. And all the people of the land were rejoicing and sounding with trumpets, and the singers with instruments of music, and giving signals to praise. And Athaliah tore her clothes and cried, Treason! Treason!

And all the people of the land rejoiced. And the city was quiet after they had killed Athaliah with the sword.

He shall clap His hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place.

By the blessing of the upright the city is lifted up, but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.

When the righteous rejoice, there is great glory; but when the wicked rise, a man is hidden.

When the wicked rise, a man hides himself, but when they perish, the righteous increase.

When the righteous increase, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, the people mourn.

And the heavens and the earth, and all that is in them, shall shout for Babylon; for the plunderers shall come to her from the north, says Jehovah.

So let all Your enemies perish, O Jehovah. But let them that love Him be like the sun when he goes forth in his might. And the land had rest forty years.
