I will bow down my ear to a parable; I will open my dark saying on the harp.

I will open my mouth in a parable; I will speak dark sayings of old,

These also are for the wise: To have respect of persons in judgment is not good.

The words of the wise are like goads; yes, their collected words are like nails driven home; they are given from one Shepherd.

And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors have come to the full, a king, fierce of face, and skilled at intrigues, shall stand up.
