And Balaam said to Balak, Stand by your burnt offering, and I will go. Perhaps Jehovah will come to meet me. And whatever He reveals to me I will tell you. And he went to a high place.

And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked. And, behold, a ram behind him was entangled in a thicket by its horns. And Abraham went and took the ram and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son.

And He said, Take now your son, your only one, Isaac, whom you love. And go into the land of Moriah, and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will name to you.

And Noah built an altar to Jehovah. And he took of every clean animal, and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

And Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, took a burnt offering and sacrifices for God. And Aaron came, and all the elders of Israel, to eat bread with Moses' father-in-law before God.

And Balak did as Balaam had spoken. And Balak and Balaam offered on the altar a bull and a ram.

But Balaam answered and said to Balak, Did I not tell you, saying, All that Jehovah speaks, that I must do?

And God met Balaam. And he said to Him, I have prepared seven altars, and I have offered upon the altar a bull and a ram.

And Balaam saw that it pleased Jehovah to bless Israel, and he did not go, as at other times, to seek for secret arts, but he set his face toward the wilderness.

Again, the Devil took Him up into a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.

But I would not listen to Balaam. And he still blessed you. And I delivered you out of his hand.
