Modern King James Version

Therefore, I pray you, come now and curse this people for me. For they are too mighty for me. Perhaps I shall prevail so that we may strike them, and so that I may drive them out of the land. For I know that he whom you bless is blessed, and he whom you curse is cursed.

And I will bless those that bless you and curse the one who curses you. And in you shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Let people serve you, and let nations bow down to you. Be lord over your brothers, and let your mother's sons bow down to you. Cursed be everyone that curses you, and blessed be he that blesses you.

because they did not meet the sons of Israel with bread and with water, but hired Balaam against them so that he should curse them. But our God turned the curse into a blessing.

They will curse, but You will bless; they arise, and are ashamed; but let Your servant rejoice.

As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse without cause shall not come.

They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, Jehovah says. And Jehovah has not sent them; but they hoped to confirm their word.

Then Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab, arose and warred against Israel, and sent and called Balaam the son of Beor to curse you.

And the Philistine said to David, Am I a dog that you come to me with sticks? And the Philistine cursed David by his gods.
