Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock.
If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.
But He said, No; rather, blessed are they who hear the Word of God and keep it.

The entrance of Your Words gives light; it gives understanding to the simple.
The wisdom of the wise is to understand his way, but the folly of fools is deceit.
As the storm passes, so the wicked is no more; but the righteous is an everlasting foundation.
The wicked are overthrown, and are gone; but the house of the righteous shall stand.
And the rain came down, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house. And it did not fall, for it was founded on a rock.
And everyone who hears these sayings of Mine and does not do them shall be compared to a foolish man who built his house on the sand.
