When the evening had come, a rich man of Arimathea, named Joseph, came, who also himself was Jesus' disciple.
And there was a certain man of Ramathaim-zophim from the hills of Ephraim, and his name was Elkanah, the son of Jeroham, the son of Elihu, the son of Tohu, the son of Zuph, an Ephrathite.
And his return was to Ramah, for his house was there. And he judged Israel there. And he built an altar there to Jehovah.
And He put His grave with the wicked, and with a rich one in His death; although He had done no violence, nor was any deceit in His mouth.
He went to Pilate and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered.
And when they had fulfilled all that was written concerning Him, taking Him down from the tree, they laid Him in a tomb.
And when his disciples heard, they came and took up his corpse and laid it in a tomb.
