But Simon's wife's mother lay sick of a fever, and at once they told Him about her.
And when Jesus had come into Peter's house, He saw his wife's mother laid out and in a fever.
And immediately after they had come out of the synagogue, they entered into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.
And He came and took her by the hand and lifted her up. And instantly the fever left her, and she served them.
And he begged Him greatly, saying, My little daughter lies at the point of death. Come, lay Your hands on her, so that she may be healed, and she shall live.
Then his sisters sent to Him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom You love is sick.
Do we not have authority to lead about a sister, a wife, as well as other apostles, and as the brothers of the Lord do, and Cephas?
