And there was also a dispute among them as to which of them seems to be greater.
And an argument came in among them, who might be the greater of them.
But they were silent. For in the way they had disputed among themselves who was the greatest.
Charity has patience, is kind; charity is not envious, is not vain, is not puffed up;
in brotherly love to one another, loving fervently, having led one another in honor.
At that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying, Who is the greater in the kingdom of Heaven?
And they began to inquire among themselves which of them it was that should do this thing.
