Return us to You, O Jehovah, and we will turn; renew our days as of old,

Hear me, O Jehovah, hear me, that this people may know that You are Jehovah God, and that You have turned their heart back again.

Turn us again, O Jehovah, the God of Hosts; cause Your face to shine, and we shall be saved.

So says Jehovah: Again there shall be heard in this place, which you say is a waste without man and without beast, even in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem that are desolate without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast;

In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the valley, and in the cities of the south, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places around Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks pass again under the hands of him who tallies, says Jehovah.

So says the Lord Jehovah: yet this, I will be sought by the house of Israel to act for them. I will increase them with men like a flock.

O Jehovah, I have heard Your report; I am afraid. O Jehovah, give new life to Your work in the midst of years; in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.

Then the food offering of Judah and Jerusalem shall be pleasing to Jehovah, as in the days of old and as in former years.
