And Joshua had said to the two men who had spied out the country, Go into the harlot's house, and bring the woman out from there, and all that she has, as you swore to her.

And Joshua made peace with them, and made a treaty with them, to let them live. And the rulers of the congregation swore to them.

And when he showed them the gate into the city, they struck the city with the edge of the sword. But they let the man and all his family go.
