But the fields of the city of Arba and its villages they gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for his own.

Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

And they gave them the city of Arba, the father of Anak (it is Hebron) in the hills of Judah, with its open lands around it.

And to the sons of Aaron the priest they gave Hebron and its open lands as a city of refuge for the manslayer, and Libnah and its open lands,

We raided the south of the Cherethites, and on that belonging to Judah, and on the south of Caleb. And we burned Ziklag with fire.
