To him who is afflicted, pity is due from his friend, but he forsakes the fear of the Almighty.

But answering, the other rebuked him, saying, Do you not fear God, since you are in the same condemnation.

Rejoice with rejoicing ones, and weep with weeping ones;

And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; if one member is glorified, all the members rejoice with it.

Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is caused to stumble, and I do not burn?

Bear one another's burdens, and so you will fulfill the Law of Christ.

Remember those who are in bonds, as bound with them, those who suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.
