If indeed you magnify yourself against me, and plead against me my misery,

And they said to me, The remnant left of the captivity there in the province is in great affliction and shame. And the wall of Jerusalem is broken down, and its gates are burned with fire.

And if indeed I have erred, my error remains with me.

Let them be clothed with shame and dishonor together, those who magnify themselves over me.

For I said, Hear me, lest they rejoice over me; when my foot slips, they magnify themselves against me.

By this I know that You delight in me, because my enemy does not triumph over me.

For it is not an enemy who reviled me; then I could have borne it; it is not one who hates me who magnified himself against me; or I would hide myself from him;

but it is you, a man my rank, my guide and my friend.

And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, we will eat our own bread and wear our own clothing; only let us be called by your name, to take away our shame.

Rejoice not against me, my enemy; for if I fall, I shall arise; for if I sit in darkness, Jehovah shall be a light to me.

They shall have this for their pride, because they have cursed and magnified themselves against the people of Jehovah of Hosts.

Jehovah also shall save the tents of Judah first, so that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the people of Jerusalem may not be magnified above Judah.

So the Lord has dealt with me in the days in which He looked on me, to take away my reproach among men.

And His disciples asked Him, saying, Master, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?

They answered and said to him, You were altogether born in sins, and do you teach us? And they cast him out.

And her foe also provoked her grievously, in order to make her tremble, because Jehovah had shut up her womb.
