Shall words of wind have an end? Or what provokes you that you should answer?

Do you intend to criticize words, and the speeches of one who is hopeless, that are as wind?

Should a wise man answer with windy knowledge, and fill his belly with the east wind?

in sound speech that cannot be condemned, that he who is opposed may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.

whose mouth you must stop, who subvert whole houses, teaching things not right for the sake of ill gain.

And no one was able to answer Him a word, nor did anyone dare from that day to question Him any more.

I have heard the rebuke meant to shame me, and the spirit of my understanding causes me to answer.

How long will you speak these things, since the words of your mouth are like a strong wind?

And as he did so year by year, when she went up to the house of Jehovah, so she provoked her. And she wept and did not eat.

Behold, all you have seen it yourselves; why then do you become completely vain?
