Withdraw Your hand far from me, and let not Your fear make me afraid.
Are not my days few? Cease then, and let me alone, that I may take comfort a little,
Shall not His highness make you afraid, and His dread fall on you?
Only do not do two things to me; then I will not hide myself from You.
Behold, my terror shall not make you afraid, and my burden shall not be heavy on you.
Let Him take His rod away from me, and let not His fear make me afraid;
My flesh trembles in fear of You; and I am afraid of Your judgments.
Remove Your stroke away from me; I am destroyed by the blow of Your hand.
But I withdrew My hand and worked for My name's sake, that it should not be profaned in the eyes of the nations, from whom I brought them out in their eyes.
