Does not the ear try words? And does not the mouth taste its food?
For the ear tries words, as the palate tastes food.
Is there wrong in my tongue? Cannot my taste discern desirable things?
I speak as to wise men; you judge what I say.
that you may distinguish between things that differ, that you may be sincere and without offense until the day of Jesus Christ,
But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, even those who because of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
if truly you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
