You said, Woe is me now, for Jehovah has added grief to my sorrow. I fainted in my sighing, and I find no rest.

Even today is my complaint bitter; my stroke is heavier than my groaning.

Woe is me, that I live in Mesech; I dwell in the tents of Kedar!

I would have fainted unless I had believed to see the goodness of Jehovah in the land of the living.

Deep calls to deep at the noise of Your waterfalls; all Your waves and Your billows have gone over me.

I am weary in my groaning; all the night I make my bed swim; I melt my couch with my tears.

My eye is dim because of grief; it wastes away because of all my enemies.

I am weary from my crying; my throat is dried; my eyes fail while I wait for my God.

If you faint in the day of trial, your strength is small.

So says Jehovah, the God of Israel, to you, O Baruch:

When I would comfort myself against sorrow, my heart is faint within me.

Oh that my head were waters, and my eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people!

From above He has sent fire into my bones and it has laid them low. He has spread a net for my feet; He has turned me back; He has made me amazed and faint all the day.

Let all their wickedness come before You; and do to them as You have done to me for all my transgressions. For my sighs are many, and my heart is faint.

for though He causes grief, yet He will have pity according to the multitude of His kindnesses.

Therefore since we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we do not faint.

For this cause we do not faint; but though our outward man perishes, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.

But we should not lose heart in well-doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not faint.

But you, brothers, do not be weary in well doing.
