And I will visit evil on the world, and their iniquity on the wicked. And I will cause the arrogance of the proud to cease, and will lay low the pride of tyrants.

Look on everyone who is proud, and bring him low; and tread down the wicked in their place.

Behold, the righteous shall be rewarded in the earth; much more the wicked and the sinner.

The fear of Jehovah is to hate evil; I hate pride, and arrogance, and the evil way, and the wicked mouth.

And the pride of man shall be bowed down, and the loftiness of men shall be made low; and Jehovah alone shall be exalted in that day.

And it was revealed in my ears by Jehovah of Hosts, Surely this iniquity shall not be purged from you until you die, says the Lord Jehovah of Hosts.

Jehovah of Hosts has purposed it, to stain the pride of all glory and to bring into contempt all the weighty of the earth.

And it shall be in that day, Jehovah shall punish the host of the high place on high, and on the kings of the earth on the earth.

Therefore the strong people glorify You, the city of the fearful nations shall fear You.

You shall bring down the noise of foreigners, as the heat in a dry place; even the heat with the shadow of cloud. The shouting of the terrifying ones shall be brought low.

For behold, Jehovah comes out of His place to punish the people of the earth for their iniquity; the earth also shall reveal her blood, and shall no more cover her dead.

For the terrible one is brought to nothing, and the scorner is destroyed, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off;

And the multitude of your strangers shall be like small dust, and the multitude of the terrible ones shall be as chaff that passes away; yea, it shall be at an instant, suddenly.

Woe to the wicked! For the evil doing of his hand will be done to him.

And man is bowed down, and man is humbled and the eyes of the lofty are humbled.

your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, says Jehovah, they that burned incense on the mountains, and blasphemed Me on the hills. And I will measure their former work into their bosom.

We have heard the pride of Moab (he is exceedingly proud), his loftiness, and his pride, and his arrogance, and his elevated heart.

And at the end of days, I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up my eyes to Heaven, and my understanding returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and I praised and honored Him who lives forever, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and His rule is from generation to generation.

Behold, the soul of him is lifted up, and is not upright; but the just shall live by his faith.
