Hosea 9:9

They have deeply corrupted, as in days of Gibeah. He will remember their iniquity; He will punish their sins.

And Jehovah said to Moses, Go! Get down, for your people, whom you brought out of the land of Egypt, are corrupted.

And the land is defiled under its people; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, and have broken the everlasting covenant.

Turn to Him from whom the sons of Israel have deeply revolted.

So says Jehovah to this people; So they have loved to wander; they have not restrained their feet; therefore Jehovah does not accept them. He will now remember their iniquity and visit their sins.

And you, son of man, prophesy and say, So says the Lord Jehovah concerning the Ammonites, and concerning their shame. Even say: The sword, the sword is drawn, polished for slaughter to make an end, that it may be like lightning;

O Israel, you have sinned from the days of Gibeah. There they stood; the battle against the sons of iniquity did not overtake them in Gibeah.

And it has become, Like people, like priest; and I will punish them for their ways, and reward them for their doings.

Blow the horn in Gibeah, and the trumpet in Ramah; cry aloud at Beth-aven, after you, O Benjamin.

And they do not say within their hearts that I remember all their evil. Now their own doings have hemmed them in; they are before My face.

They sacrifice flesh for the sacrifices of My offerings, and eat it; but Jehovah does not receive them. Now He will remember their iniquity and punish their sins. They shall return to Egypt.

The watchman of Ephraim was with my God. The prophet is a snare of a fowler in all his ways, and hatred in the house of his God.

I said, Surely you will fear Me; you will receive instruction; then her dwelling shall not be cut off, all that I appointed for her. But they rose early, corrupting all their doings.

And his master said to him, We will not turn aside here into the city of a stranger that is not of the sons of Israel. We will pass over to Gibeah.

And behold, there came an old man from his work out of the field at evening, who was also from Mount Ephraim. And he lived in Gibeah, but the men of the place were of Benjamin.

They were making their hearts merry. And, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial, set upon the house all around and beat at the door and spoke to the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring out the man that came to your house so that we may know him.

They encircled Benjamin and they chased them without rest, and trod them down until they were against Gibeah toward the sunrise.
