For consider Him who endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself, lest you be weary and faint in your minds.

If you faint in the day of trial, your strength is small.

The Lord Jehovah has given Me the tongue of the learned, to know to help the weary with a word. He wakens morning by morning, He wakens the ear to hear as the learned.

The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man who is a glutton and a winebibber, a friend of tax-collectors and sinners. But wisdom was justified by her children.

But when the Pharisees heard, they said, This one does not cast out demons except by Beelzebub the ruler of the demons.

Why do your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat bread.

And when He had come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to Him as He was teaching, and said, By what authority do you do these things? And who gave you this authority?

But seeking to lay hands on Him, they feared the crowd, because they held Him for a prophet.

Then the Pharisees left and took counsel that they might entangle Him in words.

And as He went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees to eat bread on the sabbath day, it happened that they watched Him.

And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receives sinners and eats with them.

And being money-lovers, all the Pharisees also heard all these things. And they derided Him.

And Simeon blessed them and said to Mary His mother, Behold, this One is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel, and for a sign spoken against

And the scribes and Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, except God alone?

And many of them said, He has a demon and is insane. Why do you hear him?

And when He had spoken this way, one of the officers who stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying, Do you answer the high priest so?

And therefore the Jews persecuted Jesus and sought to kill Him, because He had done these things on the sabbath day.

And there was much murmuring among the crowd concerning Him, for some said, He is a good man; others said, No, but he deceives the crowd.

Therefore the Pharisees said to Him, You bear record concerning yourself; your witness is not true.

Then the Jews said to Him, Now we know that you have a demon. Abraham and the prophets are dead, and you say, If a man keeps my Word, he shall never taste of death.

Then they took up stones to throw at Him. But Jesus hid Himself and went forth out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and passed on by.

And those of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these words, and said to Him, Are we also blind?

So that, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not without fruit in the Lord.

Therefore since we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we do not faint.

For this cause we do not faint; but though our outward man perishes, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.

But we should not lose heart in well-doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not faint.

and shall say to them, Hear, O, Israel, today you go up to battle against your enemies. Do not let your hearts faint, do not fear, and do not tremble, neither be terrified before their faces.

But you, brothers, do not be weary in well doing.

looking to Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and sat down at the right of the throne of God.

And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons, "My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you are rebuked by Him;

Therefore, holy brothers, called to be partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus,

who when He was reviled did not revile in return. When He suffered, He did not threaten, but gave Himself up to Him who judges righteously.

And you have borne, and have patience, and for My name's sake you have labored and have not fainted.

Only fear Jehovah, and serve Him in truth with all your heart. For consider what great things He has done for you.
