You went forth for the salvation of Your people, for salvation with Your anointed. You struck the head from the house of the wicked, to bare the foundation to the neck. Selah.

And David came to Baal-perazim, and David struck them there, and said, Jehovah has broken forth on my enemies before me, like the breaking forth of waters. Therefore he called the name of that place The Breaking of Baal.

saying, Touch not my anointed, and do My prophets no harm.

He sent Moses His servant, and Aaron whom He had chosen.

He shall judge among the nations, He shall fill them with dead bodies; He shall shatter heads over much of the earth.

Remember, O Jehovah, the sons of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; who said, Make it bare! Make it bare, even to the foundation of it!

Now I know that Jehovah saves His anointed; He will hear him from His holy Heaven with the saving strengths of His right hand.

Jehovah is a strength to them, and He is the saving strength of His anointed.

O God, when You marched before Your people, when You walked through the wilderness; Selah.

You led Your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

Moses and Aaron were among His priests, and Samuel among those who called on His name; they called on Jehovah, and He answered them.

Then He remembered the days of old, Moses and His people, saying, Where is He who brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of His flock? Where is He who put His Holy Spirit within him;

Oh that You would tear the heavens and come down, that mountains would quake before You,

And I will break down the wall that you have daubed with lime, and touch it to the ground; yea, I will bare its base. And it shall fall, and you shall be destroyed in her midst; and you shall know that I am Jehovah.

I saw the Lord standing by the altar. And He said, Strike the capital of the door, so that the thresholds shall shake; and break them on the head of all of them. And I will kill the last of them with the sword. Not one of them fleeing will flee, and not a fugitive of them will escape.

And it happened, as they fled from before Israel, and were in the descent of Bethhoron, Jehovah cast down great stones from the heavens on them to Azekah, and they died. The many who died from hailstones were more than the sons of Israel killed with the sword.

And it happened, when they brought out those kings to Joshua, Joshua called for all the men of Israel. And he said to the commanders of the men of war who had gone with him, Draw near, set your feet on the necks of these kings. And they drew near and put their feet on their necks.

And Joshua took all these kings and their land at one time, because Jehovah, the God of Israel fought for Israel.

And Joshua took all the cities of those kings, and all the kings of them. And he struck them with the edge of the sword. He destroyed them, as Moses the servant of Jehovah commanded.

And Jehovah delivered them into the hand of Israel, who struck them and chased them to great Sidon, and to the salt pits, and to the valley of Mizpeh eastward. And they struck them until they left them none remaining.
