Shall it be told Him that I would speak? If a man speaks, surely he shall be swallowed up.

Jehovah is in His holy temple; Jehovah's throne is in Heaven; His eyes behold, His eyelids examine the children of men.

But our God is in Heaven; He has done whatever He has pleased.

Be still, and know that I am God! I will be praised among the nations, I will be praised in the earth.

Keep silence before Me, O coasts; and peoples shall renew strength; let them come near; then let them speak; let us come near together for judgment.

In the year that King Uzziah died I then saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and His train filled the temple.

Then I said, I am cast off from Your eyes, yet I will look again toward Your holy temple.

When my soul fainted within me, I remembered Jehovah; and my prayer came in to You, into Your holy temple.

Hear, all you people; listen, O earth, and its fullness. And let the Lord Jehovah be witness against you, the Lord from His holy temple.

A prayer of Habakkuk the prophet concerning erring ones:

Be silent before the face of the Lord Jehovah, for the day of Jehovah is at hand. For Jehovah has appointed a sacrifice; He has consecrated His called ones.

Be silent, all flesh, before Jehovah; for He has risen out of His holy dwelling place.
