I will stand on my watch and set myself on the tower, and will watch to see what He will say to me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.

And David sat between the two gates. And the watchman went up to the roof over the gate to the wall, and lifted up his eyes and looked. And behold, a man ran alone.

And the sons of Israel secretly did things that were not right against Jehovah their God. And they built high places in all their cities for themselves, from the Watch Tower to the fortified city.

And a watchman stood on the tower in Jezreel. And he saw the company of Jehu as he came, and said, I see a company. And Jehoram said, Take a horseman and send to meet them, and let him say, Is it peace?

Oh that I had one to hear me! Behold my mark. Let the Almighty answer me, and my Accuser write an indictment.

I would declare to Him the number of my steps; like a prince I would go near Him.

My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Jehovah; in the morning I will direct my prayer to You, and I will look up.

I will hear what God Jehovah will speak; for He will speak peace to His people, and to His saints; but let them not turn again to folly.

Surely His salvation is near those that fear Him, so that glory may dwell in our land.

Prepare the table, watch in the watchtower, eat, drink; arise, rulers. Anoint the shield.

For so Jehovah has said to me, Go, set a watchman, let him declare what he sees.

And he cried, A lion! My lord, without ceasing, I stand on the watchtower by day, and I am stationed at my post all the nights.

I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem, who will not always be silent all the day nor all the night; you who remember Jehovah, do not be silent.

Righteous are You, O Jehovah, that I might contend with You; yet let me speak with You about Your judgments. Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why are all those happy who deal treacherously?

Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Listen to the sound of the ram's horn. But they said, We will not listen.

Son of man, I have made you a watchman to the house of Israel. Therefore hear the Word of My mouth, and give them warning from Me.

And you, son of man, I have set you a watchman to the house of Israel. Therefore you shall hear the Word from My mouth, and warn them from Me.

Therefore I will look to Jehovah; I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me!

Since you seek a proof of Christ speaking in me (who is not weak toward you, but is powerful in you;

to reveal His Son in me so that I might preach Him among the nations, immediately I did not confer with flesh and blood;
