In his days Edom revolted from under the rule of Judah, and made themselves a king.

For again the Edomites had come and had beaten Judah and had carried away captives.

Moab is My washpot; over Edom I will cast out My shoe; over Philistia I cry in triumph.

Do not think that I have come to bring peace on earth. I did not come to send peace, but a sword.
