The rings were near the border, the housings for the staves to carry the table.

And you shall make to it a border of a hand's breadth round about. And you shall make a golden crown to the border of it, all around.

The rings shall be adjoining the border as housings for the staves to carry the table.

And he cast for it four rings of gold, and put the rings on the four corners that were in the four feet of it.

And he made the staves of acacia-wood, and overlaid them with gold, to carry the table.
