For I have not dwelt in a house since the day that I brought up the sons of Israel out of Egypt until this day, but have walked in a tent, even in a tabernacle.
And for the gate of the court shall be a screen of twenty cubits, of blue and purple and scarlet, and fine twined bleached linen, worked with needlework; their pillars four, and their sockets four.
And you shall make the breast-pocket of judgment with embroidered work. After the work of the ephod you shall make it; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined bleached linen, you shall make it.
And the screen for the gate of the court was needlework: blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined bleached linen. And it was twenty cubits long, and the height and the width five cubits, to match the hangings of the court.
And the charge of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation shall be the tabernacle, and the tent, and its covering, and the veil for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,
And on the day that the tabernacle was reared up, the cloud covered the tabernacle, even the tent of the testimony. And at evening it was upon the tabernacle, looking like fire, until the morning.
