And it happened at midnight Jehovah struck all the first-born in the land of Egypt, from the first-born of Pharaoh that sat on his throne to the first-born of the captive that was in the prison; also all the first-born of cattle.

And also I will judge that nation whom they shall serve. And afterward they shall come out with great substance.

In a moment they die, and a people are shaken at midnight and pass away; and the mighty shall be taken away without a hand.

To Him who struck Egypt in their first-born; for His mercy endures forever;

And Jehovah said to Moses, I will still bring one plague yet on Pharaoh and on Egypt. Afterward he will let you go from here. When he shall let you go, he shall surely thrust you out from here altogether.

For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the first-born in the land of Egypt, both man and beast. And I will execute judgments against all the gods of Egypt. I am Jehovah.

And the sons of Israel went away and did as Jehovah had commanded Moses and Aaron; so they did.

And it happened when Pharaoh hardened himself against sending us, Jehovah killed all the first-born of the land of Egypt, both the first-born of man, and the first-born of animals. Therefore I sacrifice to Jehovah all that opens the womb, that are males. But all the first-born of my sons I redeem.

And I say to you, Let My son go, that he may serve Me. And if you refuse to let him go, behold, I am going to kill your son, your first-born.

And Jehovah did that thing on the next day, and all the cattle of Egypt died. But of the cattle of the sons of Israel, not one died.

And they shall be gathered, as prisoners are gathered in a dungeon. And they shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days they shall be judged.

Behold, all those who were angered against you shall be ashamed and confounded; they shall be as nothing. And those who fight with you shall perish.

Bowed he hurries to be freed, and not that he should die in the pit, nor that he lack his bread.

So they drew up Jeremiah with ropes and took him up out of the pit. And Jeremiah remained in the court of the prison.

And they took Jeremiah and threw him into the pit of Malchiah the son of Hammelech, which was in the court of the prison. And they let Jeremiah down with ropes. And there was no water in the pit, only mud. So Jeremiah sank into the mud.

A plague went before Him, and lightning went forth at His feet.

You also, by the blood of Your covenant I have freed Your prisoners out of the pit in which is no water.

Because all the first-born are Mine. On the day that I struck all the first-born in the land of Egypt I set apart to Myself all the first-born in Israel, both man and animal. They shall be Mine. I am Jehovah.

For the Egyptians buried all their first-born whom Jehovah had stricken among them. Jehovah also executed judgments upon their gods.

For all the first-born of the sons of Israel are Mine, both man and animal. On the day that I struck every first-born in the land of Egypt I set them apart for Myself.

Through faith he kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, lest He who destroyed the first-born should touch them.

to the general assembly and church of the first-born who are written in Heaven, and to God the judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
