And Mordecai went out from the presence of the king in royal clothing of blue and white, and with a great crown of gold, and with a garment of fine linen and purple. And the city of Shushan rejoiced and was glad.

And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph's hand. And he dressed him with fine linen robes, and put a gold chain around his neck.

White, green, and blue hangings were fastened with cords of fine linen and purple to silver rings and pillars of marble. The beds were of gold and silver, on a pavement of red and white, and pearl, and black marble.

And Haman took the clothing and the horse and dressed Mordecai, and brought him on horseback through the street of the city, and proclaimed before him, This is what shall be done to the man whom the king delights to honor!

let the royal clothing be brought, which the king wears, and the horse that the king rides on, and the royal crown which is set on his head.

The runners, riders on stallions, royal steeds, went out, being hurried and pressed on by the king's command. And the order was given at Shushan the palace.

When it goes well with the righteous, the city rejoices; and when the wicked are destroyed, there is singing.

When the righteous rejoice, there is great glory; but when the wicked rise, a man is hidden.

When the righteous increase, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rule, the people mourn.

But what did you go out to see? A man clothed in soft clothing? Behold, they who wear soft clothing are in kings' houses.

but I say to you that even Solomon in his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

There was a certain rich man who was customarily clothed in purple and fine linen and making merry in luxury every day.
