And he said, Lo, the day is yet high. It is not yet time for gathering the cattle together. Water the sheep, and go feed them.

They shall not be ashamed in the evil time; and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.

Give a share to seven, and also to eight; for you know not what evil shall be on the earth.

Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, while the evil days do not come, nor the years draw near, when you shall say, I have no pleasure in them.

Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might; for there is no work, nor plan, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave where you go.

The king answered and said, For I know that you surely want to gain time, because you see the thing is gone from me.

So the understanding ones shall keep silent in that time; for it is an evil time.

And likewise he who had received two, he also gained another two.

Then Jesus said to them, Yet a little while the Light is with you. Walk while you have the Light, lest darkness come upon you. For he who walks in darkness does not know where he goes.

This also, knowing the time, that it is already time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we believed.

Then I think this is good, because of the present necessity; that it is good for a man to be so.

who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us from this present evil world according to the will of God and our Father,

So then as we have time, let us work good toward all, especially toward those of the household of faith.

Therefore take to yourselves the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace.

Walk in wisdom toward those on the outside, redeeming the time.
