For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be on His shoulder; and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

If then you died with Christ from the elements of the world, why, as though living in the world, are you subject to its ordinances:

where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, foreigner, Scythian, slave or freeman, but Christ is all things in all.

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which you also are called in one body, and be thankful.

who is made, not according to the law of a fleshly commandment, but according to the power of an endless life.

In that He says, A new covenant, He has made the first one old. Now that which decays and becomes old is ready to vanish away.

Therefore it was necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these, but the heavenly things themselves were purified with better sacrifices than these.
