and see among the captives a beautiful woman, and have a desire to her, that you would take her for your wife,

And his soul clung to Dinah the daughter of Jacob, and he loved the girl and spoke to the heart of the girl.

And Hamor communed with them, saying, The soul of my son Shechem longs for your daughter. Please give her to him for a wife.

the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were good. And they took wives for themselves from all whom they chose.

Who can find a woman of virtue? For her value is far above rubies.

Favor is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears Jehovah, she shall be praised.

Do not lust after her beauty in your heart; nor let her take you with her eyelids.

But all the female children that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.

When you go forth to war against your enemies, and Jehovah your God has delivered them into your hands and you have taken them captive,

then you shall bring her home to your house. And she shall shave her head and dress her nails.
