For the land into which you go to possess it, is not as the land of Egypt from which you came out, where you sowed your seed and watered it with your foot, like a garden of herbs.

I have dug and drunk water; and with the sole of my feet I have dried up all the streams of Egypt.

And I brought you into a plentiful country, to eat its fruit and its goodness; but when you entered, you defiled My land and made My inheritance an abomination.

And if the family of Egypt does not go up, nor come in, they shall have no rain, but the plague with which Jehovah shall strike the nations who do not come up to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.

But the land which you are entering to possess it is a land of hills and valleys, drinking water from the rain of the heavens.

and so that you may make your days longer in the land which Jehovah swore to your fathers to give to them and to their seed, a land that flows with milk and honey.

For Jehovah your God brings you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills,
