Modern King James Version

And after sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself. And the people of the ruler who shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. And the end of it shall be with the flood, and ruins are determined, until the end shall be war.

And they answered the king, The man who destroyed us, and who devised against us, that we should be destroyed from remaining in any of the borders of Israel,

My strength is dried up like a potsherd, and My tongue clings to My jaws;

Behold, the Lord is a mighty and strong one, like a hailstorm, a destroying storm; like a flood of mighty waters overflowing, He casts down to the earth with the hand.

So then do not be mockers, lest your bands be made strong; for I have heard from the Lord Jehovah of Hosts that a full end is decreed on all the earth.

He was taken from prison and from judgment; and who shall declare His generation? For He was cut off out of the land of the living; for the transgression of My people He was stricken.

And therefore, behold, the Lord brings on them the waters of the River, strong and many, even the king of Assyria, and all his glory. And he shall come up over all his channels and go over all his banks.

Who is this rising up like the Nile, whose waters are moved like the rivers?

The sea has come up over Babylon; she is covered with the multitude of its waves.

But his sons shall be stirred up and shall gather a multitude of great forces. And one shall certainly come and overflow, and pass through. Then he shall return and be stirred up, even to his fortress.

He also shall set his face to enter with the strength of all his kingdom, and upright ones with him. So he shall do. And he shall give the daughter of women to him, to destroy it; but she shall not stand, nor be for him.

And the forces of the overflow will be swept from before him, and they will be broken, and also the ruler of a covenant.

And the king shall do according to his will. And he shall exalt and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper until the fury is fulfilled. For that which is decreed shall be done.

And he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week. And in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease, and on a corner of the altar desolating abominations, even until the end. And that which was decreed shall be poured on the desolator.

And He said, Call his name Not-my-people. For you are not My people, and I will not be for you.

Shall not the land tremble for this, and all who dwell in it mourn? And all of it shall rise up like the light. And it shall overflow and sink like the Nile of Egypt.

And the Lord Jehovah of Hosts is He who touches the land, and it shall melt, and all who dwell in it shall mourn. And all of it shall rise up like the Nile, and sink down like the Nile of Egypt.

But with an overflowing flood He will make an utter end of its place, and darkness shall pursue His enemies.

The kingdom of Heaven is like a certain king who made a marriage for his son.

But when the king heard, he was angry. And he sent out his armies and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.

Behold, your house is left to you desolate.

And Jesus said to them, Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, There shall not be left here one stone on another that shall not be thrown down.

And answering Jesus said to him, Do you see these great buildings? There shall not be one stone left on another that shall not be thrown down.

And when you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be troubled. For it must happen, but the end shall not be yet.

And He answered and told them, Elijah truly does come first and restores all things. And how has it been written of the Son of Man that He should suffer many things and be despised?

And they shall fall by the sword's edge. And shall be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem shall be trodden down by the nations until the times of the nations is fulfilled.

As to these things which you see, days will come in which there shall not be left a stone on a stone, which shall not be thrown down.

Was it not necessary for the Christ to suffer these things and to enter into His glory?

And He said to them, So it is written, and so it behoved Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day,

I shall no longer speak many things with you, for the ruler of this world comes, and he has nothing in Me.

For He has made Him who knew no sin, to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, being made a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone having been hanged on a tree");

For you were not called to this? For Christ also suffered on our behalf, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps,

He Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that dying to sins, we might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.

For Christ also once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, indeed being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit;
