While the word was in the king's mouth, a voice fell from Heaven, saying, O King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is spoken. The kingdom has departed from you.

Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and exalt and honor the King of heaven, all whose works are truth and His ways judgment. And those who walk in pride He is able to humble.

But when his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride, he was put down from the throne of his kingdom, and they took his glory from him.

And he was driven from the sons of men. And his heart was made like the animals, and his dwelling was with the wild asses. They fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of the heavens, until he knew that the Most High God rules in the kingdom of men, and that He appoints over it whomever He will.

And when the disciples saw, they marveled, saying, How quickly the fig tree has withered away!

But I say to you, Do not swear at all! Not by Heaven, because it is God's throne;

I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, Father, I have sinned against Heaven and before you

And the son said to him, Father, I have sinned against Heaven and before you, and am no more worthy to be called your son.
