Therefore repent of this wickedness of yours, and pray God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you.

The thought of foolishness is sin; and the scorner is hateful to men.

Therefore, O king, let my advice be pleasing to you, and break off your sins by righteousness, and your iniquities by showing mercy to the poor, whether there will be duration to your prosperity.

Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate. It may be that the Lord Jehovah of Hosts will be gracious to the remnant of Joseph.

Seek Jehovah, and you shall live; lest He break out like a fire on the house of Joseph and devour it, and there be none to put it out in Bethel.

Then Peter said to them, Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ to remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Therefore repent and convert so that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

But Peter said to him, May your silver perish with you, because you have thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.

And the Lord said to him, Arise and go into the street which is called Straight and inquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul of Tarsus. For behold, he is praying,

Or do you despise the riches of His kindness, and the forbearance and long-suffering, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?

For the Word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing apart of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

And I gave her time that she might repent of her fornication, and she did not repent.
