Surely the wrath of man shall praise You; the wrath that is left, You shall bind up.

Who is this who speaks, and it occurs, when the Lord does not command it?

And all the people of the earth are counted as nothing; and He does according to His will in the army of heaven, and among the people of the earth. And none can strike His hand, or say to Him, What are You doing?

Therefore tell us; what do you think? Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar or not?

After these things were ended, passing through Macedonia and Achaia, Paul purposed in the spirit to go to Jerusalem, saying, After I have come there, I must also see Rome.

And the following night the Lord stood by him and said, Be of good cheer, Paul, for as you have testified of Me in Jerusalem, so you also must bear witness at Rome.

For if I am an offender or have committed anything worthy of death, I do not refuse to die. But if there is nothing of which these accuse me, no one can deliver me to them. I appeal to Caesar.

And after some days king Agrippa and Bernice came to Caesarea to greet Festus.

But Paul having appealed to be reserved to the hearing of Augustus, I commanded him to be held until I might send him to Caesar.

And Agrippa said to Festus, This man might have been set at liberty if he had not appealed to Caesar.

And when it was determined that we should sail to Italy, they delivered Paul and certain other prisoners to one named Julius, a centurion of Augustus' cohort.

And when we came into Rome, the centurion delivered the prisoners to the camp commander. But Paul was allowed to dwell by himself, with a soldier guarding him.

according to my earnest expectation and hope that I shall be ashamed in nothing, but as always now Christ shall be magnified in my body with all boldness, whether it is by life or by death.
